Volunteer With FARR

Every dog we rescue depends on a network of dedicated volunteers. Whether you can open your home or give a few hours, there's a place for you.

Ways to Help

Find the role that fits your schedule, skills, and lifestyle.

Foster Parent

Open your home to a dog in need while they wait for their forever family. Foster parents provide a safe, loving environment and help us learn each dog's personality so we can find the perfect match.

Short-term to long-term

Events Worker

Help us represent FARR at adoption events, community fairs, and fundraisers. Events workers set up booths, engage with the public, and help connect dogs with potential adopters.

A few hours per event

Transporter

Drive dogs from shelters, vet appointments, or between foster homes. Transporters are a critical link in getting dogs to safety and keeping them healthy throughout the rescue process.

Flexible, as needed

Medical Coordinator

Coordinate veterinary care for dogs in our program — scheduling appointments, tracking medical records, and ensuring every dog gets the treatment they need before adoption.

Ongoing, part-time

Foster Coordinator

Match dogs with foster families, onboard new fosters, and provide ongoing support to ensure every placement is a success. Foster coordinators are the backbone of our rescue network.

Ongoing, part-time

Social Media Coordinator

Help tell the stories of our dogs and spread the word about FARR. Create posts, share updates, and engage with our online community to drive adoptions and donations.

A few hours per week
